How I get involved: I began engaging in extracurricular activities during my second year, starting with the Science Society and the departmental clubs. This involvement led me to participate in Science Orientation in 2023 and, most recently, to become a Science Ambassador. Joining clubs and extracurricular activities significantly enhanced my undergraduate experience, making it much more enjoyable!

Why I love my program

I love my program for its flexibility, which allows me to concentrate on areas of psychology that truly interest me while also taking complementary science courses. I particularly appreciate the research-intensive focus of the program, as it allows me to develop the essential skills for experimental work.

Why University of Waterloo?

I chose Waterloo for its excellent psychology program, which not only features professors who are industry leaders but also includes a co-op component for hands-on work experience. I felt that learning from these experts, combined with practical experience, would set me up for future success in graduate school. It was the clear choice for me!
