How I get involved
I'm involved at Waterloo through a variety of clubs, services, and jobs! I work as a Front Desk Assistant at the Campus Housing residences managing processes such as mail and keys, and I am a Marketing Director for the WUSA RAISE service, helping create a community for BIPOC students. I am also an executive for many clubs such as being an Internal Director for Waterloo Laadliyan, Events Director for UW MedLife, and the Director of Communications for the Waterloo Laurier Punjabi Women's Network! My involvement in these spaces across UWaterloo help me create a betetr experiences for others and connect with my peers who have similar interests!
Why I love my program
I love my program because I have access to many different courses and I can tailor my degree to my own interests. I can take a wide range of Science courses such as Genetics and Physiology while also incorporating Psychology courses like Psychopathology and Developmental Psych! The school also has courses such as Physiological Psychology that combines my interest in both topics!
Why University of Waterloo?
I chose the University of Waterloo because it's close to home and I loved the campus the first time I toured it. The science labs really intrigued me and I appreciated the range of options I had to choose from when it came to my classes. The Science community at Waterloo has become my family and that's the experience I want to show incoming students!
