How I get involved: I’m currently involved at UWaterloo as a Residence Life Don, where I support first-year students and help build a welcoming campus community. I’m excited to expand my involvement through the Science Ambassador program and upcoming Faculty of Science outreach events, where I can share my passion for science and connect with prospective students.
Why I love my program
I love Honours Science because it lets me study multiple branches of science while building strong critical-thinking and communication skills. The program’s flexibility has allowed me to tailor my courses to my interests and explore new fields, all while preparing me for my goal of becoming a high school science teacher.
Why University of Waterloo?
I chose UWaterloo because of its vibrant campus and the hands-on learning opportunities in its well-equipped science labs. The Honours Science program gives me the flexibility to explore different areas of science while building a strong foundation for my future. I was also drawn to the supportive community, where students and faculty inspire each other to learn, grow, and get involved both inside and outside the classroom.
