How I get involved: I am part of a student engineering design team, University of Waterloo Formula Electric (UWFE)!!! Joining a design team is a totally unique experience where you get to customize your learning and build something from scratch with your own hands. I also make sure to attend as many club activities as possible, it's a great way to have a break and meet new people or just try something new :)
Why I love my program
I love the mix of math and physics with the amazing courses in astronomy where we get to learn about stars and galaxies, even having labs in the university observatory.
Why University of Waterloo?
On top of having an astronomy stream of physics, I chose Waterloo for the co-op program and being able to get real hands-on work experience while completing my degree.
