How I get involved: I have volunteered with the UW RAISE club in my second year, worked as an Education Coordinator for the UW Global Public Health Brigades, volunteered at the Grand River Hospital, worked as a Research Assistant with the Vision and Attention Lab and a Research Volunteer with the Mobilize Clinical Biomechanics Lab!

Why I love my program

I love my program because it combines two of my biggest interests, psychology and science into one! Getting to take a variety of science electives along with several health/kinesiology electives has allowed me to tailor my degree towards my own interests. On top of that, the research-focused courses built into the program have given me the chance to develop hands-on skills in data analysis and experimental design. With this combination of diverse courses and opportunities, this program truly ensures that students are well-prepared for a wide range of career paths!

Why University of Waterloo?

I chose the University of Waterloo because of it's co-op program! Having the opportunity to gain real-world experience while studying and exploring different career paths made it the perfect choice for me!
