Why I love my program
I love science at Waterloo because it refuses to stay in the lab—it pushes me to take ideas and turn them into real-world impact. Through the Science & Business program, I've learned that science isn't just about understanding how things work; it's about using that understanding to solve problems that matter. Whether I'm building Power BI dashboards to track production data at Mondelez, automating processes with RPA at ATS, or securing funding for Tech+ and WiSTEM, I'm constantly drawing on the analytical rigor and innovative mindset that Waterloo science has instilled in me. What excites me most is the interdisciplinary nature of this journey—combining economics, technology, and business strategy with scientific thinking to create solutions that are both technically sound and strategically viable. Waterloo has shown me that science is a toolkit for change, and being part of this community means constantly challenging myself to learn, lead, and make a tangible difference in everything I do.
