Program: Honours Science, Medical Physiology Minor, Psychology Minor
Year: 2
Stream of study: Regular
Pronouns: She/Her
Career goal: My dream job would be in the medical industry. It has long been my interest, and I intend to go to medical school eventually.
How I get involved: I am the Marketing Executive for WUSA's OCC (Off Community Campus) club, and I also participate in the CCCare program, where I assist cancer patients in rehabilitation. Volunteering opportunities like these allowed me to make new friendships and meet a lot of incredible individuals with whom I gained amazing experiences.
Why I love my program
I love my program because it allows me to pick and choose the courses that interest me and I don't have to follow exactly the courses planned by the university for me. I decided to pursue a minor in psychology and medical physiology because the courses required for them are exactly what I'm interested in.
Why University of Waterloo?
While everyone chooses the University of Waterloo for its amazing coop opportunities, I chose UW because there is a course offered called KIN 100. KIN 100 has a lab with human cadavers that you can disect and open, which really appealed to me because I am an anatomy lover and would love to have the opportunity to visit the lab soon.
