2024 UWSA Annual Meeting

All UWSA members are invited to attend our 2024 Annual Meeting on October 24 at 9:00 a.m. We are offering a hybrid meeting this year, on Teams and in Physics room 313.

On the agenda:

• Approving the minutes from last year's annual meeting
• The treasurer's report and 2023–24 financial statements
• Election results (meet the candidates today at noon!)
• The president’s report:
  • Our new logo
  • Our 2023–24 annual report

Meeting documents

Annual meeting documents are now available in the UWSA Member Knowledge Base hosted on the Confluence Platform. You will need to log in with your UW credentials. If you are not logged in, you will see an error page. Use the button in the top-right corner to log in.

Documents include:

• The detailed meeting agenda
• Minutes from last year’s meeting
• The approved financial statements for fiscal year 2023–24
• Seven pages of reports from UWSA officers and committees, and your representatives on university committees—additional reports may continue to be added as they come in

Registration & hybrid meeting details

Registration is not required for this meeting, but is appreciated to help us prepare, especially if you are attending in person. Drinks and a light breakfast from the Engineering C&D will be provided for in-person attendees.

Registering will also provide you with an easy way to add the event to your calendar with the meeting link and/or location details! (Or, if you prefer, you can just save this Teams meeting link now).

All attendees can participate in Q&A and voting through Vevox, and all attendees who stay for the majority of the meeting will be eligible to enter the door prize draw for one of three $100 gift cards.
