This weekend was one of those times, as 100 post-secondary students from the region gathered at the University of Waterloo Stratford campus for the inaugural game design camp.
The “hackathon” challenged teams of competitors to come up with a one-button game tailored to the three-storey high Christie MicroTiles wall at the campus.
One button games are those that require only a single input from the player, like a tap on smartphone or tablet screen.
