Black and gold ribbons and balloons adorned dozens of downtown storefronts Thursday as about 120 first-year Global Business and Digital Arts (GBDA) students took part in an orientation day scavenger hunt that had them participating in various activities at local businesses.
"I think it's great having students in this city," Revel Cafe owner Anne Campion said after giving a group of students lessons in the art of slow brewing coffee.
