The five university students behind a project called Recreate didn't expect to win a digital arts project showcase.
"Absolutely not," said Pedja Ristic, who spoke on behalf of his group.
Having just finished classes Tuesday afternoon, the plan was to explain their concept to interested observers during a two-hour juried exhibition then head home for the day. But when the final votes were tallied, Recreate was chosen as the favourite of the 21 entries from the school's global business and digital arts program and master's of digital experience innovation.
