The St. Paul’s Student Life Department is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Fletcher, our Residence Life Coordinator, is this year’s recipient of the Ontario Association of College and University Housing Officers (OACUHO) President’s Award.

While wandering on campus, you may notice that there are numerous red and orange ribbons tied to the bridge crossing Laurel Creek from Environment 3 to St. Paul’s. In 2016, the Waterloo Indigenous Student Centre began tying red ribbons to the bridge to honour and provide a gentle reminder of the lives of 4000+ missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and two-spirit people, as a part of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.

The program combines theoretical learning with hands-on experience, giving students the tools to become active problem-solvers and leaders in today’s rapidly changing world.
