February at St. Paul’s was filled with fun! Some of the highlights included:

On Valentine’s Day, there were so many exciting things for STP students to take part in. The Student Union ran “Guess How Many” contests in the cafeteria, where students could go and cast their vote for how many candies were in the jar. ACE coordinated free candygrams for students to gift to each other. Hearts were also hidden around the college for students to find – if they found one, they would trade it in at the front desk for a sweet treat. And at the end of the day, students came together at Watson’s Eatery for a special Valentine’s Day Community Dinner. The exceptional evening had special menu items, a Shirley Temple station, cute decorations, a lovely-dovey playlist and a photo wall.

Some other fun events that took place in February were LLC socials. Environment students gathered in the lecture hall to get creative at the Plant Night Social. They were able to paint pots with unique designs and then plant seeds to that as they grew, they would add a little colour to their dorm room. Women in Engineering students and peer leaders took a break for some self-care and hung out in GreeHouse with bubble tea from Sweet Dreams and made DIY sugar scrubs while relaxing, chatting with friends and colouring. Our FARM peer leaders and students decorated some homemade cookies and enjoyed some hot cocoa to take a much-needed break from midterm studying and assignment work!
