Executive Assistant & HR Coordinator

Charlene Hone joined United College as the Executive Assistant in 2018 and became Secretary of the Board in October 2020. As Executive Assistant, Charlene is responsible for providing administrative support to the Board of Governors, the Principal, and the Executive Director of Finance and Administration, and provides occasional administrative support to other operational roles. In addition, Charlene is also responsible for the scheduling of academic courses at United College and for the day-to-day management of the Student Refugee Program.

Prior to joining United College, Charlene gained experience in administration, marketing and communications as a Communications Specialist at a private high school in Hamilton, ON. Charlene holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education degree from Brock University.
