United College’s Student Union, in partnership with Advancement & Alumni Relations, is proud to announce the inaugural United College Student-Alumni AMA “Ask-Me-Anything” speaker series! Throughout the year, United College invites a distinguished alumnus to come back to residence, engage in a lively Q&A with current students, and answer questions regarding: life as a past student, professional career decisions, personal life after United College and the university, and advice on how to navigate through today’s challenging times. Over light refreshments, prepare for a discourse between students and alumni, fostering an evening of support, connection, laughter, and memory for all.

Be a part of GOODHack24, a data science hackathon using tech to address climate inequities and promote sustainability locally. Build tech solutions with compelling use cases for municipal clients - and broaden your professional network! Tools and training will be provided and there is a cash prize for the winning team.

GOODHack24 is co-hosted by GreenHouse's Changemaker Labs program, the City of Kitchener Innovation Lab, and Go Open Data. 

Join United College alumni and alumni from fellow University Colleges; Conrad Grebel, Renison, and St. Jerome’s, for a small (approximately 100 guests) yet lively gathering on the WestJet Flight Deck at the Rogers Centre (aka SkyDome!). Connect with old (and new) friends over baseball and (hopefully) lovely spring weather.

On Saturday, October 5^th, charities across Canada will come together to walk + bike in support of people seeking safety and hope.

Walk + bike with United College and Reception House around the University of Waterloo to support the resettlement of government-assisted refugees in Waterloo Region.

Join us for a powerful day of storytelling with an exhibition and film featuring the oral histories of Southeast Asian refugees to Canada.

Come out for a day of fun and slide into the new term with smiles, hot chocolate, and fun! Weather pending.
