Fee Payment Information

United College Fee Payments

Please consult your United College contract for your individual fees and deadlines. Please note that we do not issue invoices. The fees and deadlines listed below are for the 2022-2023 academic year. 


Undergraduate Residence & Graduate Suites 

Fall Term (September-December): July 31  |  OSAP Deadline Extension: September 30

Winter Term (January-April): December 7  |  OSAP Deadline Extension: January 31

Spring Term (May-August): April 11  |  OSAP Deadline Extension: May 31

* To qualify for the OSAP extension date, we require your government Notice of Assessment or electronic Status Summary submitted before the Standard Payment Date.

Graduate Apartments

Monthly Rent is due by the 1st of each month. 

Furniture Rental payments are due at the start of each term. 

Late Payments

Interest charges will apply to all outstanding Residence fees at a rate of 1.5 percent compounded monthly.

Outstanding student accounts will be placed on hold with the Registrar's Office (Quest) until full payment has been received.

Methods of payment

Our preferred method of payment is Electronic Bank Transfers through most major Canadian Banks. To add us as a Payee, log in to your online banking account, select “Add A Payee” and search under Education. This will display a list of institutions and you will see “United College.” Your account number will be your 8-digit uWaterloo student ID number.

We also accept cash/debit, money order, bank draft, Convera (Western Union) or personal cheque payable to “United College.

Please note that we are a separate institution from the University of Waterloo and payments cannot be made through your Quest account.
