Message Regarding the Murders in London

Tuesday, June 8, 2021

We write to you today on behalf of the College to express our solidarity with all Muslim members of the St. Paul’s community. We condemn the recent murder of four members of a Muslim family in London and are appalled by the hatred and bigotry that engendered it. Those of us who live, work and study at St. Paul’s regard its diversity as one of its primary strengths.  We are pleased that our community includes many Muslim members and we want them to know that they have our full support in these difficult days.

As a College community, we reject those who promote hatred on ethnic, religious, or other grounds. We firmly embrace the belief that universities should serve both as models of, and advocates for, humane and respectful conduct. And our College is, today and always,  resolutely united in support of its Muslim members.
