When adding rules in a course proposal or program/plan proposal form, and trying to add multiple courses or programs to a list, you can speed up your search by inputting common text from the records you want to search for.

Examples:

  • When adding HIST221, 225, and 226 to a list of courses within a rule, you can type "hist22" into the search box. A filtered list of HIST22- courses will display, which you can select from. Once you select the first course (HIST221), you don't need to type again into the search bar to find the others in the list. Simply select the search box, where the last typed in text is still displaying results for HIST22-, and continue selecting the next courses to add to the rule.
  • When trying to add multiple honours recreation plans to a rule, type "Hon Recr" into the search box. A filtered list of all honours recreation majors will display. Select the plans in the right order, without needing to re-type a search into the box.
  • When trying to find all plans with "English" + "Language" + "Literature" in the name, type "engl lang lit" into the search box.
