AMATH EDI session: The Academic ‘case for diversity’

Issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion are increasingly important in academic culture. Broad awareness of these issues facilitates improvements of the culture and can play a role in career development.  In this interactive session, we’ll introduce some basic concepts, provide some Math-specific context for this work, and share resources for on-campus activity. This session is open to all Applied Math faculty, staff, graduate students, postdocs, and visitors; everyone is cordially invited to attend.
