Title

Towards Scale Invariance in Cuscuton Bounce

Abstract

The inflationary paradigm of early universe cosmology is a very successful theory, but has shortcomings of its own. In this talk I will present an alternative to inflation called a Cuscuton bounce. First I will give a brief introduction to early universe cosmology, the inflationary paradigm, and bouncing cosmologies as an alternative to inflation. Then I will introduce a bouncing cosmology generated by Cuscuton, and discuss my progress in trying to acquire a scale invariant power spectrum to agree with observations.
