Applied Math Graduate students present keynote talks at Graduate Conference

One current and one former PhD student from Applied Math gave keynote talks this week at the Southwestern Ontario Graduate Mathematics and Statistics Conference at the University of Guelph. Amenda Chow, who completed her PhD in 2013, gave a talk entitled "Characterizing Hysteresis in Linear and Nonlinear Dynamical Systems". PhD student Colin Phipps presented a talk on "A Microscale Mathematical Model for Metabolic Symbiosis in Tumours".
