Layton,
a
professor
at
the
Department
of
Applied
Mathematics,
has
been
recognized
as
one
of
six
members
of
the
Canadian
Mathematical
Society
inducted
into
the
2022
Class
of
Fellows. The
Fellowship
honours
mathematicians
who
have
made
outstanding
contributions
to
the
profession
through
research
or
teaching
as
well
as
service
to
Canada’s
mathematical
community.
