Abstract
In the last years, a new technique for finding sparse solutions to undetermined systems has emerged, this one is known as compressed sensing (CS). Despite classical linear algebra theory states that there are infinite solutions for such systems, CS theory shows that is possible to solve an undetermined system if the solution is sparse. In the talk, some fundamental concepts, as well as some nice applications, will be reviewed.
