You are warmly invited to attend the Fall 2025 Engineering Communication Student Poster Showcase, which will take place on Wednesday, October 29 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. in the Davis Centre lobby. Multiple sections of 1A students from across the Electrical/Computer and Civil/Environmental/Geological Engineering programs will share work they have prepared for ENGL/COMMST 192: Communication in the Engineering Profession.
The students have been working hard on projects related to the social, ethical, and environmental impacts of engineering technology. They have been mapping the broader “socio-technical systems” engineering work is part of, visualizing their own design projects in new ways, summarizing engineering topics for public audiences, and more!
Come check out the projects and chat with students about their work; the opportunity to present to the broader UW/Engineering community will enrich this experience greatly.
