Lake Shift 2025

Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs (GSPA) is now accepting applications for Lake Shift 2025

Lake Shift will be running from July 6-11 at the Queen’s University Biological Station on Lake Opinicon—approximately 50 minutes north of Kingston. The Lake Shift aims to help doctoral students make substantial progress on their dissertations and develop strategies to maintain momentum after the retreat. When not writing, attendees can enjoy lakeside activities like swimming, canoeing, hiking, and evening campfire conversations.

This year, GSPA will be sponsoring 4 PhD students to attend by covering half of the $700 registration fee ($350 + HST). Applications are due by May 12, 2025.
