This grassroots peer mentoring group—initiated by undergraduate students—will match second-year English students and transfer students (the mentees) with upper-year English students (the mentors). Mentors will help support mentees by providing an English-department community, orientation to UW resources, and guidance through the academic challenges of their major. Mentors will also receive mentorship/leadership training that they can add to their resumés.

You can also get support through the new Faculty of Arts Peer Mentoring program. Want to find out more about Peer Mentorship across campus? Take a look at the Student Success website.
