Carrie Snyder is the author of Girl Runner, a finalist for the Rogers Writers Trust Prize for fiction, which was published internationally and translated into multiple languages; and also of The Juliet Stories, a finalist for the Governor General's Award for fiction. In addition to writing literary fiction, Carrie has published several books for children, and her non-fiction has been nominated for a National Magazine Award. In 2019, Carrie was project coordinator, with Dr. Lamees Al Ethari, of The X Page, a storytelling workshop for immigrant and refugee women in Waterloo Region; the project was funded in part by a SSHRC Connection Grant.
