Join planning grad and Senior Development Manager at Brookfield Properties Catherine Pan for a career AMA on the development industry. From starting her career in the Northwest Territories to working in Toronto, Catherine will share insights into her experience working on a range of projects, from low-rise greenfield development to high-rise urban developments. She’ll also share her thoughts on getting your first job, navigating political and investor interests, private vs public sector development work and what it’s like working in the development industry as a woman and visible minority.

Senior Development Manager, Brookfield Properties

Catherine is currently a Senior Development Manager with Brookfield Properties. The majority of her career has been spent in the private land development and housing industry, having worked as a Development Manager with the Sorbara Group of Companies for seven-years. Catherine has managed housing developments from land acquisition to occupancy. She is a Registered Professional Planner and in 2016 was recognized with the Building Industry and Land Development Association BILD Leadership Award as selected by her peers.
