Are you looking for flexible ways to enhance your digital teaching practice through emerging technologies and pedagogical approaches to technology-enabled teaching and learning? Then Ontario Extend is designed just for you!

Ontario Extend is a micro-credentialed professional learning program offered at no charge by eCampusOntario that provides flexible ways to enhance your digital teaching practice through emerging technologies and pedagogical approaches to technology-enabled teaching and learning.

Extend explores key skills, knowledge, and attributes required to extend and transform your teaching and learning practices and to enrich your professional development. The program is designed to contribute to your digital fluency and to support your decision making for the appropriate use of digital tools.

Through participation in a series of six program modules, taking on average 4-6 hours each to complete, Extend educators are encouraged to think differently about their pedagogical approaches and practices with digital badges being awarded upon the completion of each module and an Empowered Educator micro-credential awarded upon program completion.

Who should participate?

Full time and part-time faculty, teaching assistants, librarians, instructional developers and/or anyone involved in the delivery of online or technology enabled education is welcome!
