The University of Waterloo's J.D. Leslie Undergraduate Prize is awarded by the Centre for Extended Learning annually to a graduating student who has achieved a first-class standing and who has earned 50 per cent or more of the credits for their undergraduate degree through online courses.

Experiential Learning using Riipen
Instructors, are you interested in incorporating an experiential learning opportunity into your online or on-campus course next term? You should consider taking part in Waterloo’s Riipen pilot project. Riipen is a micro-experiential learning platform facilitating connections among students, educators, and industry partners such as local companies, community organizations, government agencies and Non-Government Organizations.
The University of Waterloo’s Online Teaching Awards recognize teaching and course design excellence in fully online undergraduate- or graduate-level courses and programs. There are two awards:
Nominations for this year’s awards must be received by August 31, 2018. The Office of the Vice President, Academic will announce the award winners in late November.
