The Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology (WIN) is pleased to present a Distinguished Lecture by Professor Anja Boisen, Head of Section and Professor in the Department of Health Technology at the Technical University of Denmark.

The Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology (WIN) has four main thematic research areas; Smart and Function Materials, Connected Devices, Next Generation Energy Systems and Therapeutics and Theranostics. To showcase the work going on within these areas, WIN will be holding monthly Thematic Seminars featuring our members and their research group members.

The Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology and Waterloo International are proud to jointly present an Innovation Seminar by Fanny Bousquet, First Secretary at the Embassy of Canada to the Netherlands.

In this seminar, Fanny Bousquet will discuss bilateral innovation policy relations between the Netherlands and Canada. This seminar will be open to the Waterloo community to inspire interdisciplinary conversations and connections. Refreshments will be provided!

The Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology (WIN) and the Department Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering (MME) are proud to present a joint seminar by Professor Bijoy Bera from the Transport Phenomena Group at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft).

The seminar will be on "Moving droplets chemically: Vision for tunable electrodes". Refreshments will be provided! Registration required.

Join us to celebrate WIN members' outstanding achievements! The research celebration will run from 4:00 - 5:00pm on December 2nd in QNC 2502 and will be followed by a holiday reception from 5:00 - 6:30pm in the QNC Basement Atrium. Registration for the research celebration and the holiday reception are seperate. Please be sure to register for the event(s) you plan to attend by November 24th, 2022.

The Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology (WIN) and the Department of Chemical Engineering are proud to present a joint seminar by Assoc. Prof. Lucy Vojtová from the Central European Institute of Technology (CEITEC), Brno University of Technology (BUT), Czech Republic.

This seminar will be held on March 2, 2023 at 10:00AM via Zoom. Registration required!
