The Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology (WIN) has four main thematic research areas; Smart and Function Materials, Connected Devices, Next Generation Energy Systems and Therapeutics and Theranostics. To showcase the work going on within these areas, WIN will be holding Thematic Seminars featuring our members and their research group members.

This month's WIN Thematic Seminar will highlight the Next Generation Energy Systems theme with research presented by Niloo Misaghian and Professor Jeff Gostick from the Department of Chemical Engineering.

The Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology (WIN) and the Department Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering (MME) are proud to present a joint seminar by Professor Sili Deng from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology (WIN) and the Department Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering (MME) are proud to present a joint seminar by Professor Bijoy Bera from the Transport Phenomena Group at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft).

The Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology and Waterloo International are proud to jointly present an Innovation Seminar by Fanny Bousquet, First Secretary at the Embassy of Canada to the Netherlands.

In this seminar, Fanny Bousquet will discuss bilateral innovation policy relations between the Netherlands and Canada. This seminar will be open to the Waterloo community to inspire interdisciplinary conversations and connections. Refreshments will be provided!

The Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology (WIN) has launched a new seminar series, Quantum Nano Collision (QNC) Seminar Series, to deepen the engagement of the Waterloo researchers who work at the interface of quantum and nanotechnologies. This seminar series will also provide opportunities for senior graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and research associates to present their innovative work along with the faculty members to bring together the excitement around these cutting-edge technologies that would shape our future.
