Join the UWaterloo Balinese Gamelan and Grebel Community Gamelan Warga Santi in their celebration of 10 years of gamelan music in Waterloo, featuring a special guest artist from Bali, Indonesia, I Putu Arya Deva Suryanegara, and innovative works by renowned composer, inventor, and gong-smith, I Wayan Beratha.
This term the 3rd place winner from the 2023 Concerto competition will play Grieg's Piano Concerto in A Minor.

Our 2024 winter term concert will feature composers who have contributed to this music’s unique history. Influences of Brazilian Samba, driven Big Band Swing and the odd meter Jazz Waltz will be presented. A few of the composers contributing this term are Gordon Goodwin, Sammy Niehaus, Tito Puento and Quincy Jones.

The connection between music and math is well established, particularly in the Jazz Ensemble at UWaterloo. Full House Brass are five versatile and creative brass players: two trumpets, one French horn, and two trombones.They play a variety of musical styles ranging from Classical to Jazz, that is both eclectic and entertaining.
The KW Wind Quintet will present a concert for all ages, with a mix of familiar melodies and sprightly new tunes.
The trio of Annette Barbara Vogel (violin), Tom Landshoot (cello) and Mehdi Ghazi (piano) will perform Schoenfield's Cafe Music (hence the title) and Mendelssohn's Trio No. 1 in D minor.
