Celebrating the Class of 2024

Waterloo Pharmacy welcomes the Rx2024 class, MSc and PhD graduates to the alumni community with a convocation ceremony.

Dr. Nyasha Gondora (PhD ’20) has been honored with the prestigious Canada's 2024 Top 100 Black Women to Watch Award for her outstanding contributions. Moving from Zimbabwe to Texas to Kitchener-Waterloo, Gondora’s journey instilled in her courage, adaptability and a deep appreciation for community.

Researchers from Waterloo Pharmacy have developed a new technology that can hold an entire course of antibiotics in one tiny dose and deliver on demand just the right amount of medication that a particular patient needs to fight an infection.
