About the Award

This award is given to an undergraduate student in a Renison program. First priority is given to Crown Wards or students in extended society care. Preference will be given to under-represented groups. First preference is given to Crown wards or students in extended society care. Second preference is given to under-represented student groups including indigenous students; black students; students of colour; queer, trans, and/or two-spirited; and/or students with disabilities.


Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this award, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Be enrolled in the Social Development Studies or Bachelor of Social Work program.
  2. Demonstrate financial need.

Notes for Indigenous Students

  • Students are encouraged to begin the verification process early, as processing times may vary.
  • Self-identification alone is not sufficient to be eligible for this award.
