The One Sky Festival is returning to Renison! Join us in celebrating the festival's 30th anniversary!
Saturday November 23rd, 11am - 2pm
Mark your calendars...March Open House this year is taking place on Saturday, March 23rd between 10am to 4pm!
Stop by Renison during your visit at the University of Waterloo to see us first hand for yourself.
Keep checking back as more information will be added closer to the day.
Join us on Wednesday April 2 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm for a special Student and Donor Celebration. This special event will acknowledge the hard work of our students, and thank the donors who have helped provide financial support.
Many students would be unable to achieve their academic goals without the assistance of removing financial barriers. Almost 1/3 of student awards that Renison provides to our students are made available as a result of direct donations from those who believe deeply in our students.
We hope you’ll be able to join us to celebrate and connect!
Join Vinh Nguyen in discussion about his new release The Migrant Rain Falls in Reverse with Souvankham Thammavongsa (author of How to Pronounce Knife) for a conversation on literary craft, refugee families, and life writing.
Presented in partnership with Words Worth Books.
Hanami (Cherry Blossom Viewing) Event will take place this Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Renison.
Hanami is a traditional Japanese custom of appreciating the beauty of cherry blossoms, and we are delighted to celebrate it once again on our campus. The cherry trees at Renison, generously donated by the Consulate-General of Japan in Toronto, have flourished beautifully over the years and now create a wonderful springtime sight. This will be our second Hanami event.
Join us for the annual (and very popular) alumni craft beer and bites event, hosted by the four University Colleges at the University of Waterloo!
For this event, you'll meet us at Renison, and we'll take you on a walking tour to each of the University Colleges to sip craft beer samples paired with great food. Bring your appetite - the "bites" are substantial - you won't be needing dinner!
It's a great way to tour your old stomping grounds (see what we've done with the place) and connect with old (and new) friends!
