Preparing for your first co-op term? This session will give you a clear overview of what to expect and how to approach your co-op job search with confidence. A Co-op Advisor and Career Advisor will walk you through the co-op process, effective job search strategies, and where to find support along the way. The session will wrap up with a Q&A, giving you an opportunity to ask questions and get practical advice as you prepare for your co-op journey!

Victoria Salim currently leads Talent Acquisition at Definity, where she is passionate about attracting, developing, and retaining amazing talent. She is also a sought-after Leadership and Career Coach, facilitator, and educator. Victoria holds an MBA specializing in Organizational Behaviour from Wilfrid Laurier University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Waterloo.

Victoria is passionate about helping professionals build confidence, gain career clarity, and navigate meaningful career transitions. Outside of work, she enjoys strength training, biking, skiing, spending time outdoors, baking, reading, and, most importantly, spending time with her family
