Hello SAF Class of 2027 (AFM, SFM, CFM, Math/CPA and BioTech/CPA students),
We’re excited for you to join us at the Opportunities in Accounting and Finance Night hosted by the School of Accounting and Finance (SAF).
This event will give you the opportunity to:
- Meet with representatives from national, regional, and local public accounting firms, non-financial corporations, financial services firms, and other employers
- Practice having professional networking conversations
- Learn about co-op opportunities and sector areas where SAF students and alumni work
When: Thursday, March 9, 2023
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Location: St. George Banquet Hall, 665 King Street North, Waterloo, ON N2J 4G8
Dress Code: Business Casual
Transportation:
Shuttle buses will be available to bring you to and from the event. The first shuttle will depart from the University of Waterloo on Ring Road outside of Hagey Hall at 5:30 p.m. Please indicate if you will be utilizing the shuttle in your registration.
Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Although this event is not mandatory, it is highly encouraged that you attend and participate. Co-op terms are one of your top reasons for choosing your program. Attending this event will bring you one step closer to your work term 1. Let’s impress the employers with the sill sets of the class of 2027, we look forward to seeing you there!
