Taking Your First Career Step With Purpose

Starting your career may seem daunting. Finding the right co-op job for you, connecting with recruiters, and performing well in interviews isn't easy. However, all of it starts with communication and networking.

Join Parbir Deol and Luka Pavlesen, co-founders of Making Things Happen (MTH) and recent alumni from the School of Accounting and Finance, as they host a communication and networking workshop during the Launch Your Career Conference on September 11th, 2026. Through MTH, they've helped hundreds of students navigate their next career steps by connecting them with alumni across business, finance, consulting, and more. Now, they'll bring that same approach to SAF first-years, walking you through the networking and communication skills you'll need to determine your ideal career path, land your dream job, and build lasting relationships.
