Brief biography
Tingting Wu's teaching and research span environmental economics, sustainable finance and sustainability disclosure. Her research examines how climate and environmental policies, such as carbon pricing and carbon budget allocation, shape the decisions of firms, households and markets. Currently, she is particularly interested in empirical asset pricing that incorporates carbon- and nature-related risks.
At Waterloo, Tingting developed the Natural Systems Finance course (SFM 411) for the Sustainable Financial Management (SFM) program and, previously in the Faculty of Environment, the graduate Sustainability Reporting course (ENBUS 632).
Currently, she is the Principal Investigator on a LITE Seed Grant studying the integration of sustainability into business education through balanced case studies.
