Program: Honours Science
Year: 2
Stream of study: Regular
Pronouns: She/Her
Career goal: Dermatologist or pediatrician!
How I get involved: I really enjoy getting involved on campus, and this is my first year as a Science Ambassador! I also volunteer with Let’s Talk Science and love being part of clubs like the UW Charity Knitting Circle and the Pre-Med Society. On top of that, I’m currently volunteering at the Quantum Neurobiology Lab, which has been a great way to learn and connect with others who share my interests.
Why I love my program
I love Honours Science because it gives me a strong foundation in core science subjects, such as microbiology, genetics, and human physiology, while also offering the flexibility to explore other interests through electives. That balance keeps things interesting and makes me well-prepared for professional school!
Why University of Waterloo?
I chose the University of Waterloo for its unique combination of academic excellence and hands-on learning opportunities! I was also drawn to the supportive campus community and the chance to get involved in clubs, research, and volunteer work that align with my passions.
