How I get involved: I am a Student Ambassador working with the Visitors Centre and part of the university's competitive dance team, the UW Neuroscience Association, the Endocrinology Undergraduate Student Association, and an Orientation leader!
Why I love my program
I love Biomedical Science because there is lots of room to customize your degree and take courses that especially interest me, even if they aren't necessarily required courses -- like psych!
Why University of Waterloo?
I originally chose Waterloo for its co-op program, as I was originally admitted to Medicinal Chemistry, but even still I love how many hands on opportunities there are for hands-on learning even without co-op
