How I get involved: Alongside being a Science Ambassador, I’m the Advocacy Director at the Women’s Centre, was an Orientation Leader, and a volunteer at Science Ready Day and You @ Waterloo Day. These opportunities have allowed me to give back to the Waterloo community and help create a welcoming environment.
Why I love my program
I love my program because it lets me complete most of my core courses and prerequisites in first and second year, which gives me the freedom to explore courses I’m really interested in during third and fourth year.
Why University of Waterloo?
I grew up visiting campus since a family member studied here, which gave me early insight into the community and opportunities at Waterloo and made it feel like the right place for me.
