Career goal: I am using my time at university to explore different career directions and gain diverse experiences that will help me shape a meaningful career. I am especially curious about opportunities in healthcare or government, but I am keeping an open mind and excited to learn more during future co-op terms.
How I get involved: I'm thrilled to be a Science Ambassador and have the opportunity to connect with other students. I love being part of the campus community, whether it's attending events or spending time at the rock climbing gym. These experiences have helped me build connections, try new things, and make the most of my time on campus.
Why I love my program
I love that Science and Business allows me to study both scientific subjects like biology and chemistry, while also building practical skills through business courses. The Science and Business workshops have helped me improve my presentation skills and learn how to work effectively in teams. My favourite part about my program is definitely the SCBUS community because it's a small program, so you really get to know your classmates. I have made amazing friends and have felt genuinely supported throughout my time here.

I chose Waterloo for its incredible co-op program, which gives me the chance to explore different career paths through real-world experiences before I even graduate. I was also drawn to the Science and Business program because of its unique mix of science and business, which is something that you won't find at many other universities.
