How I get involved: I am someone who loves to meet new people, so getting involved around the school was something I was eager to do. Aside from being a science ambassador, I am involved in the UW Dhamaka dance club as I love to dance! I am a member of the MSA and pre-optometry club, and I was also a science orientation leader!
Why I love my program
I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in the sciences because the subjects were just so interesting to me. When exploring my options, I came to learn that Biomedical Sciences allows me to take a variety of courses that could lead me to multiple different career paths, without being limited by anything. I also love that I can choose the courses I am most interested in, and can meet amazing people with the same interests as me along the way!
Why University of Waterloo?
I came to Waterloo after hearing all the amazing experiences and classes my friends were taking, and thinking to myself, wow I wish I could be in your shoes! Waterloo is not too far from home and was such an easy choice for me to make, and I don’t regret it!
