Program: Environmental Science

Year: 4

Pronouns: She/Her

Career goal: I want to work in different areas of conservation and environmental work. I have loved my experiences working as a field technician and getting to learn what’s out there!

How I get involved: I really enjoy going to different club events and events on campus. One of my favourite activities I’ve volunteered for is the Gem and Mineral show hosted in the Earth Sciences Museum. I also encourage any Earth and Environmental students to check out the Earth and Environmental Student Association club named WATROX.

Why I love my program

I love learning, I love being outside. Being in Environmental Science means I get to do both!

Why University of Waterloo?

I chose Waterloo because I liked the campus and that it was easy to find information about my program. I could see what classes I would take for my program and what opportunities my degree could lead to. The co-op program also allowed me to explore different work environments and have a strong understanding of how to apply the things I’ve learned in class. The University of Waterloo seemed like a great fit for me and I’m glad I chose to go here!
