How I get involved: During my time here at UWaterloo, I got involved through joining the clubs within the faculty of Science. I have been a part of the Science Society as Vice President Academic as well as the Biomedical Student Association as one of the presidents! In addition, I became a don within the Off-Campus Community and joined Relay for Life as a Participant. I also played an active role during Science Orientation as a front-line leader!!

Why I love my program

Before entering the Pharmacy program, I was in the Honours Science program. This program gave me the opportunity to explore my interests within and outside of the faculty of Science. I was able to find my passion within science while simultaneously finding balance in my education by taking courses offered outside of the faculty.

Why University of Waterloo?

I chose the University of Waterloo (again!) for many reasons including the co-op program as well as the community. The co-op program allows me to apply all that I learn during study terms to real-world situations that occur during my placements. I also deeply value the school’s sense of community since it allows me to connect with other like-minded individuals and there is always something for everyone.
