Program: Honours Science, Biology Minor
Year: 4
Stream of study: Regular
Pronouns: She/Her
Career goal: A licensed pharmacist!
How I get involved: I have been a leader at Science Ready Day and Orientation and have assisted with Campus Move-Ins! I have also volunteered at a microbiology research lab on campus, where I worked on the microbial analyses of milk and completed 16s and 18s RNA-tiled amplicon sequencing. The volunteer opportunity led me to serve as an Events Coordinator for Real Research, a club designated to provide undergraduate students with research opportunities on campus.
Why I love my program
My program offers flexibility, allowing me to explore various scientific disciplines and tailor my degree to my personal preferences. The Honours Science program led me to cultivate my passion for bioinformatics and pharmaceuticals, allowing me to apply data analysis to potential drug development and optimize patient care!
