Career goal: I still have many options to explore but the dream is to make contributions to ecological and climate initiatives, whether it be through research, conservation, or science communication.
How I get involved: Science Ambassador is one of my first volunteer involvements at Waterloo which I'm super excited about! I'm also volunteering with UW Compost this year and I've participated in various athletic clubs such as Karate and Jujitsu and Waterloo Serve.
Why I love my program
I love the opportunity to able to explore so many different fields of science under an environmental lens and you really see how interconnected everything is! It's also such a tight-knit community, with many people that share the same ambitions and love for the environment as you.
Why University of Waterloo?
Waterloo has an encouraging environment, especially the Science faculty which drew me in with it's engaging HS student events. The co-op program is also a huge plus, where I can truly visualize and take part in potential career opportunities.
