Career goal: I aspire to become a doctor, with a particular interest in cardiology.

How I get involved: I love engaging with fellow students and participating in the Waterloo community. I've been involved in Science Orientation, currently serve as the Podcast Executive for the UW Neuroscience Association (UWNSA), and act as the Secretary for the UW Animal Rights Society (UWARS). Additionally, I volunteer with RAISE and ICSN, and I hold an executive position with the Science Society. These experiences have allowed me to develop my leadership skills while fostering meaningful relationships with my classmates.

Why I love my program

I truly enjoy my program because it enables me to engage with science deeply and consistently relate theoretical concepts to practical applications. The classes are demanding yet fulfilling, and I value the opportunity to explore various fields within science. What really enhances the experience are the encouraging professors and the cooperative community of fellow students who share my enthusiasm for learning and exploration.

The blend of rigorous academics and an engaging student environment creates a perfect setting for personal and professional development. Additionally, I was attracted by the distinctive opportunities to participate in leadership roles, outreach programs, and co-op experiences that contribute to a comprehensive education. The welcoming atmosphere at Waterloo truly stood out to me as well.
